The work
Most mid-size companies can keep systems running. Few have a senior architect who owns the hybrid picture — on-prem networking, storage, Windows and Linux, backup and DR, plus Azure — and stays with the people doing the hands-on work.
That is the gap I cover. I take requirements, design the architecture, and stay long enough that the design survives contact with reality. Your team or MSP keeps the keys.
How it starts
Most engagements begin with a scoped Hybrid Architecture Assessment + Roadmap. You leave with a current-state picture, the gaps that matter, a 6–18 month roadmap, and a written record of the decisions so your team can execute.
If ongoing architecture ownership is useful after that, it continues as a retainer. Assessments are projects. Guidance is a retainer. I do not take over operations, replace an MSP, or sell a stack.
